list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including social media, blogs, image search, local
search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search
engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding
to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number
of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.
Why You need SEO?
Just Google Search Engine alone processes over 40,000 search queries every second on average and over 3.5 billion searches per
day and 1.2 trillion searches per year worldwide. With this kind of information regular website finding its way into the top is difficult unless you take
appropriate measures. According to the survey conducted in 2013 "the first page listings in Google's organic search results receive 33% of the traffic,
compared to 18% on the second page, and 8% on third page and 0.1% on fourth page and almost zero on the fifth page"
